USAID's Economic Analysis and Data Services (EADS) is the Chief Information Officer's initiative to provide USAID employees with quick and easy access to development data and quantitative analytical support. EADS maintains six specialized web sites (see below), which provide access to thousands of statistical series covering all aspects of the development process along with data analysis tools.
The EADS staff collect, organize, and maintain statistics issued by more than 100 organizations. The EADS web sites enable you to easily obtain these data in a centralized location, sparing you the time and trouble of multiple internet searches for the data needed for your work. In response to users' requests the web sites include both graphical and tabular presentations of the data.
The Economic Analysis and Data Services work is carried out by DevTech Systems, Inc., located in Rosslyn, Virginia. The EADS team is available to assist you with data and quantitative questions that cannot be answered through the web sites. You may reach them at statsunit@devtechsys.com.
